Can a Delivery Truck Drive on Grass, Dirt or Unpaved Surfaces?
The delivery trucks are heavy, and can sometimes weigh over 40,000 pounds when loaded with a 40ft container. If a truck drives onto a soft surface or gets stuck in the mud it’s very difficult and expensive to get them unstuck. Nobody wants that to happen, so we avoid delivering to soft surfaces whenever possible.

When dirt or grass delivery is possible
That being said, we can coordinate a delivery on dirt or grass if it’s extremely dry. This often means rescheduling multiple times to ensure several days of dry weather prior to delivery. It’s not ideal, but it is possible if you’re patient and communicate well with our logistics team.
Delivery to soft surfaces like grass or dirt is possible, but usually takes longer and requires more communication to go well. We’re happy to help if that’s what you need.
