What Does the WCS 3-Year Warranty Cover?
Our warranty covers structural integrity of the shipping container for three years after it’s delivered. That means doors that seal properly, floors free of holes and strong enough to drive a forklift on, and no leaks in the roof. It does not cover cosmetic issues like faded paint, surface rust, or dents.
Key points
- Our industry-leading warranty covers structural integrity for 3 years after delivery.
- Doors will seal properly, floors strong enough to handle a forklift, and no leaks in the roof.
- Some of our competitors offer longer warranties, but when you check their reviews they don’t actually stand by them.
- Fewer than 1% of our customers ever need to use their warranty, but we’ll be there if you need us.
How we compare
Unlike our competitors, we stand by our containers for multiple years. Most of our reputable competitors only offer a 1-year warranty on used shipping containers. Some of our less professional competitors will offer things like “25 year warranties,” but when you check their reviews they don’t actually honor the warranty or play gotcha games with the fine print.
If something goes wrong
If your container has a leak or a door issue, we’ll work with you to resolve it at your site. If more complex work is required (like welding) we may need to bring the container back to the depot for repairs. In the event that the container needs to be replaced, we’ll do that within the normal delivery timeline (4–7 business days). The full policy lives on our Container Warranty page (/company/container-guarantee).
We stand by our warranty, unlike some of our competitors. Over 99% of our customers never need to use their warranty because we make sure to provide quality shipping containers at delivery.
